Graphics Standards
This style manual, published by the Communication Department and University Public Relations – establishes SUNY Maritime’s visual identity guidelines. Over the last year, the Development Department, in conjunction with SUNY Maritime’s marketing team, has worked to promote a clear and consistent visual identity. The school logo is now updated, school colors are firmly established, and type styles are standardized in most publications. These efforts have created a “brand awareness” that clearly identifies printed or electronic materials as SUNY Maritime publications.
The following guide defines the parameters for SUNY Maritime’s print and electronic communications. Access information for camera-ready artwork for use in non-digital reproduction processes is provided at the end of this manual. Please note that changes to design and colors by using other than those specified in this manual must be done in cooperation with the Communications Department.
