Symbol
A graphic identifier (i.e., SUNY Maritime’s official seal) that reflects the organization’s spirit and philosophy and promotes immediate identification by the public.
Wordmark
The institution’s name, designed in a unique and individual style.
Logo
The official graphic arrangement of the symbol and wordmark.
Signature
The logo (symbol and wordmark) with contact information (i.e. return address).
Unit Identity
A unique identifier for a specific area of an institution.
Compatible Typography
Typefaces that complement the signature and may be used for supplementary copy, such as address blocks, signage, and advertising.
Reproducible Artwork
Digitally reproduced version of the original artwork.
