University Typography

The university uses a consistent set of compatible fonts in all publications. Trajan is the font used in the university logo, seal and on letterhead design (if available). Fonts are available for individual or group license purchase through online retailers (i.e., www.fonts.com). Please contact University Computing for further assistance on purchasing fonts. Below are visual representations of the fonts/typefaces that can be used on publications and web media. They are complimentary to the overall graphic style and aesthetics of SUNY Maritime College and can be used for the content (“text”) portion of any publication. They are listed below to allow individual departments, who may be producing publications, handouts, inter-office forms, letters, cards, etc. the option to choose from a short list of approved fonts. These fonts are available to most Mac and PC users:
