Marine Surveying Cargo Course Description:
The Commercial Marine Surveyor is a vital part of the maritime community, and to a certain extent, they keep the shipping industry and its ships working. Sometimes a cargo is a Marine engineer or Master who has spent a whole career in and around ships; but more often they are people with learned expertise and experience.

Marine Surveying: Heavy Weather investigations Course Description:
This course is designed to allow the student to develop a common approach to marine casualties and incidents occurring as a consequence of “Heavy Weather: In achieving these aims, this course recognizes the need for introducing a common but not the only approach to marine casualty investigations and reporting on such casualties. Clearly defining the purpose of marine casualty investigation and the guiding principles for its conduct. We also address a framework for consultation and co-operation between substantially interested parties. Establishing a common format for reports to facilitate publication and sharing of the lessons to be learned.

Marine Surveying: Refrigerated Cargoes Course Description:
This course is designed to provide training for those conducting surveys on frozen or live cargoes, as well as provide a means of continuing education for those already practicing as surveyors. The major goal will be to produce a medium for exchange of ideas, personal advancement and cross training with particular emphasis on cargo carried under chilled, frozen or cooled conditions. At the end of the class, coupled with previous practical experience, candidates will have a basic understanding of how to conduct a marine survey of refrigerated cargoes; allowing them to work within the field and sit for exams by accrediting authorities and at the same time provide a basic training program for those looking to develop an understanding of the Survey discipline or to obtain a better understanding of the discipline.
