Every student has an academic advisor, who helps them select and register for courses each semester. Advisors can help students develop good study habits, time management skills and other academic issues.
Freshmen are advised by their LEAD 101 instructor.
Upperclassmen who have not declared a major are advised by the associate dean of students.
All other students are advised by someone in their academic major. Advisors can be found through Maritime self-service or the registrar's office.
For more information, contact William J. Imbriale, associate dean of students, at (718) 409-7348 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
