Regardless of what life style you choose to live or how you choose to participate, you will find an ideal setting for self-discovery, intellectual growth, and engaging activities. Over 90 percent of undergraduate Maritime students live on campus, with two life styles to choose from, The Regiment of Cadets or the Civilian Program.

There is no shortage of opportunities for campus and community activities, ranging from water front activities, student government, student events and programs, intramurals and athletics, and student organizations. Rigorous academics combined with a one of kind location and a multitude of activities make Maritime College life unique and exciting.

Maritime College Graduate Students:
SUNY Maritime College graduate students make up a diverse body, with more than 150 students ranging in age from 22 to 50 and coming from all parts of the United States, as well as from countries around the world. The cultural and ethnic diversity in the graduate programs is an important quality in the academic and social life of the College, and graduate students are encouraged to participate in all college events and activities.
