The Fort Schuyler Press is the academic press of the State University of New York Maritime College.

The College is the oldest institution of its kind in the United States. It began in 1874 on a ship in the East River. Since 1938, it has been housed in historic Fort Schuyler, which dates to 1833 when Andrew Jackson was president. The Fort is located at the foot of the Throggs Neck Bridge, and is home to the Empire State, a 565-foot training ship.
