All circulating books may be borrowed for the period of five (5) weeks. Books can be renewed up to two times, if not in demand. You may borrow up to 30 books at any one time depending on type of collection. All books are due on the final examination day of Spring and Fall Semester each year. For summer vacation, special loans are available upon request. |
A fine of $.20 per item, per day will be strictly enforced with a maximum $10 per item. Delinquent Student borrowers will be reported to the Registrar and their records, e.g., grade, diploma, transcripts, and others will be held until the books are returned and fines paid. Any situation not resolved locally for any borrowers will be referred to the New York State Attorney General's office for legal action.
Borrowers are required to pay the cost of replacing lost or damaged items, and fines, if any, plus an Administrative processing fee of 50% of the item, or $25.00, whichever is less. If the lost item is found within 6 months of the date of transaction a refund will be made. |
