Intent to Enroll

To reserve your spot in the Fall 2017 class, return your $100 deposit along with your Statement of Intention form ASAP.

Steps to Enroll

  • Submit your $100 deposit along with your Statement of Intention Form

  • Complete and submit your FAFSA (fafsa.gov – school code 002853)

    • If you have already completed a 2017-2018 FAFSA update by adding SUNY Maritime’s school code

  • Access "My Maritime" Email upon receipt of your deposit and Statement of Intention

    • *The first time you sign onto Maritime Self-Service, your PIN will be your date of birth in MMDDYY format.

  • Register for placement testing

    • Students living 65+ from the Maritime College campus can choose to have their placement exam proctored at their high school, local community college, library, etc. Click here for proctor form.

  • Attend orientation:

  • Register for classes:

    • You will be contacted by the Academic Dean who will guide through the advising and registration process

  • Complete the online housing application (on a space available basis)

  • Accept financial aid through Maritime Self Service

  • Sign up to receive notification of e-bills with QuikPay authorization

  • Accept/waive billed health insurance through the CHP website

  • Pay your bill – Student Accounts Credit Card Authorization Form

  • Submit Health Forms

  • Submit official final high school and/or college transcripts to the Office of Admissions

  • Submit Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) application and non-refundable uniform deposit(regimental students only)

  • August 7, 2017 - Pay your bill including full college bill, full uniform payment and Indoctination fee (uniform and Indoctrination fee regimental students only)

  • August 16, 2017 - Report to Indoctrination (regimental students)

  • August 27, 2017 - Move-in for non-regimental students (civilian) students

  • August 28, 2017 - First day of classes
