QuikPay General Information

QuikPay/E-BILL Payment Plan Information for Spring 2018

You may pay your bill in full through QuikPay/E-BILL using your credit card, debit card or bank account. You will see your payment posted in real time. Please remember, Indoctrination has to be paid without the use of scholarships, grants, financial aid or payment plans.

As in the past, the payment plan option is offered to you interest-free, and depending on when you enroll, will allow you to spread your payments over a period of up to four months. A non-refundable enrollment fee of $25 is required to activate the payment plan. There is a $30 returned payment fee if a payment is returned.

You have the option of using a credit card (Amex, Discover, MasterCard or Visa) or bank account (checking or savings) to participate. Payments will be automatically debited from the account you choose on the 5th of the applicable month. You will receive an email reminder several days before your account is debited.


The payment plan option for the Spring 2018 semester will be available beginning November 17, 2017.

As a courtesy the payment plan is available to set up through February 13, 2018. Please keep in mind that by then, the bill is overdue and may be subject to late fees.

The dates of payment plan options are as follows:

November 17 to December 23, 2017: 20% down & 4 equal payments on January 5, February 5, March 5 and April 5 

December 24, 2017 to January 25, 2018: 33% down & 3 equal payments on February 5, March 5 and April 5

January 26 to February 13, 2018: 45% down & 2 equal payments on March 5 and April 5

To enroll in the payment plan the student must:

  • Click here to enter Maritime Self-Service

  • Enter Secure Area and enter your Banner ID and password

  • Select the “Student: Student Account" button

  • Select the “Quik Pay Link” option on the left side of the menu. 

There the student will have the option of assigning Authorized Payer, Make a Payment (pay one time payment), or Payment Plan. The Payment Plan option will allow you to enroll in the 5 payment or 4 payment options.

A failed payment will result in a hold on the student’s account. You may make a one-time payment to release the hold, and we will cancel the re-attempted payment. Otherwise, the payment will be re-attempted on the 20th of the month. If a re-attempt fails, you will be charged a late fee.

Again, the payment plan option is available as of November 17, 2017. Parents cannot enroll themselves. They must be enrolled as an authorized user by the student. The student can authorize up to five individuals to pay bills and/or receive electronic copies of the bill. Authorized payers only need to be set up once during the student’s attendance at the school, however, payment plans must be set up every term.

Electronic bills are the exclusive billing method for all SUNY Maritime College student account balances.

In QuikPay, be sure to check the date when viewing Current Statement.  That indicates the day the bill was run.  To see the account in real time, please select Account Status.  The Account Status reflects exactly what we see in the office.  Your authorized aid that has not disbursed, is listed on the bottom of the Account Status, and netted from the amount due.

Your statement will show a balance due even if you have a payment plan.  The future payments in your payment plan are listed on the bottom of the statement, and totaled in the box labeled QuikPAY Payment Plan.

To read your statement and determine what amount, if any, is due: 

  • If your Current Balance is zero ($0.00), you do not have a balance.

  • If your Current Balance less your QuikPay Payment Plan is zero, or less than zero, you do not have a balance.

  • If your Current Balance less your QuikPay Payment Plan is greater than zero, this is the amount you owe.
