Researchers may register for borrowing privileges :
An annual registration fee of $30. is required to receive a Library Card. Off-Campus users can borrow a maximum of two (2) regular circulating collection books. Off-campus users are those who are not currently affiliated with SUNY either as employees, matriculated students, or alumni. Off-campus borrowers are entitled to use our basic reference services, in-house borrowing privileges for ready reference and special collection items. Renewals and other policies, not indicated here, are same as those applied to the Graduate/Undergraduate students. |
A fine of $.20 per item, per day will be strictly enforced with a maximum $10 per item. Delinquent Student borrowers will be reported to the Registrar and their records, e.g., grade, diploma, transcripts, and others will be held until the books are returned and fines paid. Any situation not resolved locally for any borrowers will be referred to the New York State Attorney General's office for legal action.
Borrowers are required to pay the cost of replacing lost or damaged items, and fines, if any, plus an Administrative processing fee of 50% of the item, or $25.00, whichever is less. No refund will be made if the lost item was found after 6 months from the date of transaction. |
