STEAM Day 2022
Students in 6th to 11th grades are invited to join a STEAM Day at SUNY Maritime College in Throggs Neck on Saturday, April 2nd. Maritime College faculty and staff will lead stations about the reintroduction of oysters to the New York Harbor, water quality testing, kelp, robotics, and more!
All activities are FREE, and students and families will have the option of touring the campus, including the College’s 565-foot training ship, Empire State VI.
Rising high school juniors and seniors explore science, technology, engineering, and math at our week-long, hands-on camp. Students will learn and participate in our hands-on STEM activities in the campus science and computer labs, ship engine and bridge simulators, and the campus pool and waterfront facilities.
