2019-2020 FAFSA and Summer Aid Applications
Students who plan to attend Maritime for the 2019-2020 academic year should complete the application online at fafsa.gov using 2017 federal tax returns information. Be sure to include our school code, 002853, and apply by the priority deadline (February 1-new students & March 1-continuing students) for consideration for campus based awards.
Continuing students who wish to apply for federal student aid for the summer should submit their supplemental summer aid application by April 1.
Spring 2019 Aid for Part Time Study (APTS) Grant Application
The APTS program provides grant assistance for eligible part-time (undergraduate New York State Residents) students. Applications to be considered for a Spring 2019 award are due by March 15, 2019. Please also provide copies of relevant 2016 New York Tax Returns.
Governor Cuomo Directs SUNY and CUNY to Assist Students Impacted by Federal Shutdown With College-Related Expenses

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has directed SUNY and CUNY to assist students with college-related expenses during the prolonged federal shutdown. Payments for tuition and related college expenses will be postponed, and no late fees or penalties will be charged to impacted students. This temporary reprieve will apply to federal employees, dependents of federal employees, and students who are dependent on loans from the federal government that may be delayed.

Department of Education (ED) operations and student aid program funding continue without disruption, even as a partial federal government shutdown enters its second week. The same cannot be said, however, for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), where agency contingency plans categorized income verification and transcript services as "non-excepted" activities, and therefore subject to disruption.
