Ezgi Uzel Faculty Bio Picture

Ezgi UZEL, Ph.D (Business Administration with a Marketing Emphasis), is an Associate Professor in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, and currently working as the Director of Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics at Beykoz University in Istanbul, Turkey. She has been teaching as an adjunct in the Global Business and Transportation department at SUNY Maritime College since 2007.

She holds several advanced certifications, including a specialty in carriage of dangerous goods on road, sea and railway based on her DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor) License from the FTA (Freight Transport Association of UK). In addition to her academic career, Dr. Uzel currently works as a consultant and a trainer providing courses for employees of different logistics and transportation firms to prepare them successfully for the qualification exams authorized by the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
