Maritime College Hosts Annual STEAM Day for Community Youth

From edible DNA experiments and introductory coding to hands-on water quality testing, Maritime College's Annual STEAM Day offered a full day of exploration, creativity, and discovery. Students and families from the Bronx and surrounding communities joined our Waterfront team, faculty, staff, and student volunteers on campus to engage in interactive activities designed to spark curiosity and innovation.
The event highlighted Maritime College's commitment to inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers through accessible, hands-on learning experiences.
