Undergraduate
If you are a high school student, or a Parent, or Guidance Counselor interested in Maritime College start here.

Transfer Students
The Maritime College welcomes applications from students desiring to transfer from other colleges. Curriculum structure and federal requirements for unlimited license preparation are such that transfer students can ordinarily complete degree and license requirements in about three years. Click for more .

International Applicants
International students enroll as cadets pursuing degree and license courses and participate in all facets of campus life, including regimental responsibilities ashore, and as cadet officers during Summer Sea Terms. At graduation, international students receive the B.S. or B.E. Degree and may be certified by the Coast Guard that they meet all requirements for license except citizenship. Click for more.

Non-Matriculated Status
Undergraduate non-matriculated status permits students who are not pursuing a degree program to register for a limited number of credit hours (not more than a total of 15 credits). Non-matriculated students may take no more than two courses per semester.  To maintain satisfactory academic standing in the College, non-matriculated students must earn at least a 2.00 grade point average in every semester in which they are enrolled and complete fifty percent or more of the semester hours for which they are registered. After completion of the initial 15 credits, the Registrar will place a “hold” on the student to prevent them from registering until they have completed the admissions process.  In no case does this waive published prerequisite courses.  Applications for non-matriculated status are available from the Office of Admissions or click here.

Do you have service experience?
Students with certain experience (armed forces) or qualifications (merchant marine license) may be admitted and assigned special status. Special status must be approved by the Commandant of Cadets. Click for more.
