Transfer Student Checklist

  • Submit your $100 deposit along with your Statement of Intention Form by August 16

  • Complete and submit your 2019-2020 FAFSA  (School Code: 002853)

  • Register for Accepted Students Day (Check the email you provided on your application for the link to register)

  • If you are transferring without College Algebra & Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus from your previous institution(s), you are required to take a Math placement exam or accept starting in preliminary courses MATH 080 Elementary Algebra or MATH 090 Introduction to College Mathematics, based on your transfer credit evaluation, when it is completed.

  • Access "My Maritime" E-mail

    • An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided on your application confirming receipt of your enrollment deposit. This message will include all details related to accessing your Maritime E-Mail.

    • Your username will be your first name, the first three letters of your last name, followed by a period and your incoming year. So if your name is Michelle Smith and you first enrolled in 2017, your username will be

    • Your password will be the first initial of your first name, the first initial of your last name (both capitalized), followed by a dash, and the last five digits of your Maritime College ID. If Michelle Smith's ID is M00065789, her password would be MS-65789.

  • Access Maritime Self-Service - (Please allow 2 business days from when you submitted your enrollment deposit to complete this process.)

    • You can only access Maritime Self-Service after you have established your Maritime E-mail account.

    • You will accept your Financial Aid via Maritime Self-Service.

    • Billing information will also become available via Maritime Self-Service at the appropriate time prior to the start of each semester. 

  • License Students: Submit your application for Transportation Worker Identification Card - TWIC (domestic regimental students only), apply for US Passport (or apply for renewal if you are a current US Passport holder and your passport will expire before September 2020) between May 17 and July 19

  • Register for Orientation, submit uniform deposit (email Paul Maggio with any additional questions), health formshousing application, and accept financial aid by June 7, 2019

  • Once your enrollment deposit has been submitted, the Academic Dean will register you for your first semester. Questions regarding this process can be directed to the Academic Dean. You can review the Undergraduate Curricula for reference. - Registration begins on March 25th

  • Submit official final high school and college transcript(s) to Office of Admissions by July 19


  • July 15, 16, or 17 - Attend Orientation (One Day Only - Click the link to register)

  • July 19, 2019 - Submit your official college transcript(s) to the Office of Admissions

  • July 24, 2019 - Parents' Orientation (For Parents Only; Students need not attend)

  • August 5, 2019 - Confirm payment of full college bill, including final uniform payment

  • August 14-24, 2019 - Regimental Students attend Indoctrination

  • August 16, 2019 - Final day to submit enrollment deposit & statement of intention

  • August 26, 2019 - First Day of Classes
