Orientation 2022

Orientation 2024

Welcome to SUNY Maritime College!

Student Affairs oversees the SUNY Maritime College new student orientation, which is a vital part of college life. Student Affairs facilitates the transition of new students and their parents/families into the Maritime College community while building on-campus connections!

The program is divided into two experiences; a virtual orientation in July (Orientation Part 1), and an in-person event in August (Orientation Part 2). This enables all students to participate regardless of their location!

The videos below are designed for viewing at your leisure. During the scheduled virtual orientation dates, (Orientation Part 1) there will be live, Q&A sessions based on most of the videos. The sessions offer an opportunity to connect with staff related to the videos, which provides students a customized day based on their needs. Please make sure to watch the videos in their entirety as they are developed to answer many frequently asked questions. The live Q&A sessions will not be presentations.

Additionally, the videos are designed for students and parents/families. There will also be a Q&A session for parents and families.
