Connecticut Maritime Association Education Foundation Scholarship Program
This national program offers a one-time scholarship of $1,500 payable to the student.
The CMA Education Foundation Scholarship Program is open to students as follows:
- All maritime academy students participating in a maritime-related field of study, including non-regimental students;
- Undergraduate and graduate students in the U.S. at maritime academies, or at institutions with maritime-related degrees;
- High school students enrolled in schools in the United States with maritime programs;
- Students in their final year of high school or college, if they will continue their maritime-related education upon graduation;
- Students in their final year of college who are not continuing to a maritime-related graduate program;
- Students in their final year of a graduate program who are entering a maritime-related field in the United States upon graduation.

John G. Karrer Scholarship
In 1993, the NYSOBBA membership instituted a student scholarship program to recognize students enrolled in a member institution who embody the ideals of the organization through meritorious service in an on-campus business related activity, through either volunteer work or employment. The John G. Karrer Scholarship is a $1,000.00 award, which is disbursed in two $500.00 payments over the course of the academic year.

The winner at the Colorado chapter level will be entered automatically to be considered for the WTS International Scholarship award, worth an additional $5,000.

American Society of Naval Engineers Scholarship Program
The society annually awards a combination of undergraduate scholarships, worth $3,000, and graduate scholarships, worth $4,000.
Undergraduate candidates are eligible for support in their final year of an engineering program.
Graduate candidates are eligible for support during one full year of a graduate program or co-op leading to an engineering or physical science degree.

The club awards seven scholarships, worth a total of $12,000.
