Alhassan Ndekugri

Dr. Alhassan Ndekugri is an Assistant Professor with eight years of teaching experience in the field of Business, Management and Finance, he had impacted positively in the lives of students around the world. Prior to joining SUNY Maritime College in September 2022, He had taught as a full-time professor of Finance at Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina from August 2015 to August 2019 and as an adjunct professor at Webster University Columbia Campus, South University, Columbia campus, and South Carolina State University in Orangeburg. He had also taught as an assistant Professor of Management at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin from September 2020 to August 2022.

As a professor of Global Business and Transportation here at SUNY Maritime College, Dr. Alhassan had designed and engaged students using different pedagogical approaches including but not limited to case studies, presentation, assignment, discussion and field trips. He had traveled widely for research including but not limited to Tokyo, Japan, London, Uganda, and Cuba and had published in peer reviewed journals including but not limited to Global journal of management and Business Research, Journal of Finance and Accounting, International Journal of Management and Applied Sciences.

Dr. Alhassan's areas of expertise include the App-based Transportation and the Business of Shipping, where he conducts a regular investigation into the App-based transportation security of both drivers and riders. He also ventures into small-scale shipping prospecting.

Presented in Tokyo, Japan, London and also participated in international Business Research in Uganda, and Cuba in Collaboration with University of South Carolina and University of Maryland through the Center For International Business Education Research (CIBER) program.
