Facilities Maintenance

The Facilities Department is responsible for managing and addressing maintenance concerns across the Maritime College campus. Work order requests are received and processed daily, with the primary objective of completing all tasks efficiently and in a timely manner. To ensure prompt service, please complete the Work Order Request Form in full before submission.

Operational Hours

The Facilities/Maintenance Department operates Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding holidays.

For maintenance issues occurring outside of regular business hours or on weekends, residents should contact the Resident Assistant (RA) on duty. RA contact information is posted in the lobby of each residence hall. If the RA is unavailable, students may call the Power Plant directly at:

Emergency Service Request

For emergency maintenance concerns—such as water leaks, heating issues, or power outages—please contact the Office of Residential Life at 718-409-7488, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Outside of these hours, emergency concerns should be reported to the RA on duty.
