Welcome to SUNY Maritime College!
Student Affairs oversees the SUNY Maritime College new student orientation, which is a vital part of college life. Student Affairs facilitates the transition of new students and their parents and families into the Maritime College community while building on-campus connections!
Additionally, the powerpoints are designed for students, parents and families. There will also be a virtual session for parents and families.
Summer Orientation: Save the Date
Join us on July 14, 2026, for Summer Orientation—an important first step in preparing for your upcoming experience. Orientation is designed to help you get acquainted with our community, learn about key resources, and feel confident as you begin your student experience at Maritime College.

Parent and Family Orientation—July 21, 2026
We invite parents and family members to join our Summer Orientation experience, designed to support you and your student as they prepare for this exciting transition.
You'll learn about academic expectations, campus resources, student support services, and ways to stay connected throughout your student’s college journey.
Registration is not required for the Virtual Parent and Family Orientation. We will share access information and additional details in advance of the session.
