SUNY Maritime's international student coordinator in the Office of International Education provides the services and support that international students need to be successful:
- Creating and updating I-20 forms
- Advising accepted students on gaining and maintaining F-1 and J-1 visa status
- Orientation for new international students
- Support for academic processes and changes
- Training on cultural intelligence and adapting to life in Maritime College, New York and the U.S.
- Advising on F-1 and J-1 benefits
- Hosting cultural events and celebrations
