Campus Life
Where Living and Learning Meet
Welcome and congratulations on joining SUNY Maritime College, home to over 1,400 on-campus residents. Our mission is to provide safe residential accommodations for our students and foster a community that encourages the development of respect, social responsibility, integrity, ethical leadership, and independence.
Estimate Housing Rates and Fees 2025-2026
Rooms may be configured as single (one person per room), double (two persons per room), or triple (three persons per room). Amenities may vary by building and include features such as air conditioning (A/C), lounge areas, and laundry rooms. Based on student population, incoming student needs, and space availability, students may be offered a single-room buyout option. This allows a resident to occupy a double room alone for an additional cost. The buyout option is only available after the two-week room freeze period.
Housing is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Double Occupancy | Double Occupancy Room Buyout | Triple Occupancy | Summer | Summer |
---|---|---|---|---|
(per semester) | (per semester) | (per semester) | Ashore I | Ashore II |
$4,910 | $5,910 | $3,895 | $1,425 | $1,425 |
Rates are subject to change. |
Note: Winter and summer intersessions are charged at a daily rate for approved extended stays. The Summer Intersession refers to the period between Spring semester and Summer Ashore I, and the period between Summer Ashore I and II—these are not covered by regular summer housing rates.
Removal from housing does not equate to official withdrawal from classes or the college. Students must obtain clearance from all relevant departments before leaving.
