LT Alex Richards

LT Alex "Cheese" Richards was born and raised in McKinney, Texas. He was commissioned into the Navy on 5 May 2019 and earned his Wings of Gold as a Naval Aviator on 25 Feb 2022. He has served as a MH53E Aircraft Commander and Airborne Mine Countermeasures Helicopter Aircraft Commander for HM15 in Norfolk, VA. He also served as the Assistant Operations Officer, Maintenance Division Officer, and Ground Safety Officer. He has deployed twice to Pohang, South Korea in support of 7th fleet's AOR, and commanded many high visibility multinational operational missions. These missions include Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM), heavy lift transport of troops and equipment, and special operations support.
