Uniform Regulations for the Regiment of Cadets

All Cadets should review the Uniform Regulations posted on RegWeb.

Cadets must be in the Uniform of the Day from 0700 – 1600 Monday through Friday.  Civilian clothes are authorized after 1600 (except for dinner on the Mess Deck) Monday – Friday for all classes (except MUGs) and on weekends for all Cadets.

Uniforms must be worn between 0700 and 1600 for dining on the Mess Deck (to include dinner), in the Grab and Go’s, in the Ship’s Store, in the Learning Center, in the Library, in all academic buildings, and to conduct all business.  PT gear is only authorized for working out in the gym or getting a haircut between the hours of 0700 to 1600.  Sneakers/running shoes (or appropriate athletic shoes) must be worn with PT gear from 0700-1600 Monday – Friday when transiting the campus so there is no mistaking your intent to ‘work out’.

Khakis are required to be worn to all classes – even those after 1600.  Khakis are required between 0700-1600 if you are a student worker working anywhere on the campus.  If on restriction, khakis are to be worn to all restriction musters including all musters on weekends.

Please review the Uniform Regulationss for the guidance on wearing boiler suits.

If you have any questions, please see your Battalion Officer or the Regimental Cadet Leadership.

Watch caps are not authorized for wear with any uniform at this time (except for MUGs during Team Building Evolutions).  At the appropriate time – contingent on weather - there will be a formal announcement for the wearing of watch covers with uniforms.

UNIFORM ITEMS THAT ARE NO LONGER SERVICEABLE SHOULD BE REPLACED; THIS IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH CADET. UNIFORM ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE SHIP’S STORE AND LIMITED QUANTITIES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE REGIMENTAL LOCKERS. SEE YOUR REGIMENTAL BATTALION OFFICERS FOR DETAILS.

SEE CHIEF RODRIGUEZ IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PROPER MANNER OF WEARING THE UNIFORM.
