Two letters of recommendation (At least one recommendation must be from a current or former employer)
Essay (The essay should be no more than 2 pages and should reflect the applicant's interest in the program for which they are applying)
Official transcripts from all institutions attended, including at least one from an accredited institution demonstrating completion of a bachelor's degree
Decisions are based on an applicant's academic performance, communication skills, professional accomplishments, and other relevant skills and abilities. Successful applicants generally have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0.
A 3.0 GPA is required to remain in the program. Successful students have a working knowledge in economics, financial management, marketing and math including calculus, statistics and operations research. Students are strongly encouraged to achieve proficiency in these areas in advance.
Additional Requirements for International Students
International applicants should submit their applications as far in advance as possible to allow time to obtain visas. Maritime College cannot guarantee visas will be granted.
Minimum scores of 79 on the TOEFL or 6.5 on the IELTS or at least two semesters of coursework (minimum 12 credit hours) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher at a regionally accredited institution, or a foreign institution where English is the official language of instruction.
