SUNY Maritime College's Office of International Education exists to:

Expertly administer SUNY Maritime's international student program and offer top-notch customer service for international students and visitors.

Inspire SUNY Maritime students to participate in life-enhancing study abroad trips, and facilitate the processes that are related.

Develop cultural intelligence in SUNY Maritime's students for best success in both the diverse communities in which they will live, and in the global economy in which they will work.
Vision
The Office of International Education's work will provide experiences and foster relationship-building that will help SUNY Maritime students broaden their exposure to people and cultures different from their own, deepen their respect for others, and develop their cross-cultural leadership capabilities.
